About Me
Welcome. In this blog I discuss a wide range of topics including travel, urban living, building community, reviewing podcasts, movies, and books, post corporate life, and recreationally activities to name a few. There are no annoying pop-ups or ads to distract from the intention.
The picture at the top of this page is from my cross-country train trip, traveling back and forth around and across the country, covering 12,000 miles. It is the basis for the book that is linked on this blog and the inspiration for this blog.
I have included a picture of “The Thinker” statue on this page. It was created by the artist, Rodin in 1904. The first large scale casting is in the Musee Rodin in Paris. There are 27 other castings around the world. I saw the one pictured above in Philadelphia on my cross-country train trip I mentioned above. The statue sits near the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the impressive Benjamin Franklin Parkway. It means different things to different people. To me it represents the idea of slowing down and reflecting on experiences. Taking the time to really think about what my experiences mean to me and sharing them. That is the purpose and intention of this blog.
